Wittgenstein’s biggest contribution was not language games or the puzzle of a private language. It was not that he founded a school of philosophy. His most amazing accomplishment was that he gave his entire fortune away. Discuss.

  1. Good point! Although actually, I think people were aware of his generosity and just became more concerned with following his ideas than his actions (!)
